Yehya is a graduate student at the Kumar lab in the Tufts-JAX neuroscience Ph.D. program. Their background is in pharmacology and behavior and has an interest in uncovering novel drug targets for neuropsychiatric disorders. In their time at the Kumar lab, they hope to uncover a novel causal mechanism for hyperactivity disorders. The project would shed light also on the relationship between hyperactivity and neuronal cell health. In their spare time, they are an avid horror movie fan and reading… you guessed it.. more horror novels. Be sure to ask them for a recommendation whenever you meet them.
