Avery is a rising junior at Middlebury College, studying Neuroscience with a minor in Computer Science (2018). This summer (2019) as an SSP, she is piloting a test to investigate the effect of a single gene (TMOD2) deletion on reward and learning behaviors. Additionally, she is examining the role of genetics in psychostimulant drug responses by analyzing data from Collaborative Cross Recombinant F1 strains.
